In a 24/7 social media cycle littered with news of conflicts from all over the world and bad-faith actors manipulating historical events to sow the seeds of division, it is easy to forget that friendship, dialogue and peace is possible between members of different religious groups. In fact, it can be even easier to overlook the fact that not only is it possible – it is happening. Emile’s campaign focuses on the French context, looking to surface the stories of interfaith friendship and coexistence between Christians, Jews, Muslims and non-believers as they exist.
