An important part of the United Nations’ work is on safeguarding places of worship and religious sites – for all faiths. And as an expert in various Islamic disciplines, in his campaign Hossam calls upon adherents from all faith communities to step into this responsibility to protect adherents of all faith traditions. Using a series of explainer videos, Hossam uses jurisprudence and instances from Islamic history that promote the notion of establishing shared faith-based or religious sites and peaceful inter-faith coexistence.
