The Distant Yet So Close campaign seeks to raise awareness of the multicultural and interfaith diversity of Ukraine. A historically diverse country, Ukraine and its various communities – big and small – have had their traditions and customs for generations. So how have they learned to respect other points of view and move forward to develop a society open to differences? Andrii’s campaign seeks to make visible the invisible as Distant Yet So Close brings stories of how historical and contemporary interfaith and intercultural coexistence has looked (and can look) in the Ukrainian context.
